What's the difference between a piano tuner and a piano technician?
Sometimes nothing — and sometimes quite a lot. A technician keeps the whole instrument in top condition, not just its pitch.

Sometimes nothing. In other cases, quite a lot. A piano tuner tunes pianos, but may or may not be trained to repair and adjust the action.
A piano technician is trained to do both — skilled in keeping the entire piano in top condition at all times. When mechanical issues arise, the technician can recommend and perform the appropriate repairs.
